Hello! My name is Emerson Burns. I'm a freelance video editor specializing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve, and am currently looking for a full-time position! I have been editing content in Premiere Pro since I was 12 years old and have experience working with long-form content, short-form content, and advertising. Whether you're looking for traditional film-based editing or rapid-fire high-energy social media editing, I can confidently deliver both.

SHE F***ED A COMEDIAN
A comedy short film that is debuting at SIPFest, Gold Coast on May 2nd. This was a herculean task for our entire team, but it came out great, and we’re incredibly proud of it.
Failure May Be Your Style
A miniature documentary created alongside Noa Thornton. Combining loosely filmed interviews with creative usage of CRT footage, we assembled a short documentary about the life of Tom Smith.
Social Media Editing
These are the projects edited in a ‘social media style’ that I am the most proud of. With fast pacing, strong humour and varied visuals, these videos are designed to hook an audience and keep them engaged throughout.
Transformers 2007: The Peak of Bayformers - Diamondbolt
A video that both Diamondbolt and I are incredibly proud of. It’s funny, looks great, has high energy, and was incredibly fun to create. Unfortunately, I cannot embed the video into this site, so I’ve provided a link which should hopefully work just as well.
What Even Is NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD?
A video I wrote, directed and edited covering and reviewing the video game NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD. This is an incredibly energetic video that I am super proud of, though of course, I don’t always produce content this hyperactive!
